Arctotropin contains somatropin, a recombinant human growth hormone (rHGH) with the identical amino acid sequence to endogenous human growth hormone. It is supplied as a sterile, white to off-white lyophilized powder for reconstitution and is provided strictly for laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use.
Each vial contains 15 IU of somatropin. Each package contains 7 single-dose vials (total 105 IU per package) as clearly printed on the box. The product is co-packaged with Sterile Water for Injection, USP as the diluent for reconstitution.
Storage and handling: Before reconstitution, store the lyophilized powder refrigerated between 2°C and 8°C (36°F to 46°F), protected from light. Do not freeze. Once reconstituted, single-dose vials should be used immediately and any unused portion discarded. Do not shake the vial during reconstitution — swirl gently with a rotary motion until dissolved. Use only if the solution is clear or slightly opalescent and free from particulate matter.
